Reactions after shows

For many, the spirit of Neil Young is difficult to grasp. With a repertoire as varied as his – ranging from pure acoustic folk to heavily distorted rock – most cover bands fail to strike the right chord. In this regard, Neil Young Tribute (a band based in The Hague, The Netherlands) forms a welcome exception. The band effortlessly works its way through the decades of music built up by Neil himself. Their passionate dedication rubs off on the whole audience (not just the die-hard fans), as everyone is blissfully carried along this journey. They are an absolute must for any festival or festivity. June 17, 2018 Andledon den Andel “This afternoon I was at a concert in the Andledon and already during the intermission I had to give my compliments for a beautiful show. “Down by the River” was the highlight of the performance. What a joy to listen to! And what a guitar work! This performance is almost just as the original. It was wonderful. I heard Johanna call out “extase!” and that was so true. I’m so happy I was there. Good luck with your performances. I can’t wait to hear you again.

Review from a performance in Niehove: An evening of Neil Young is very entertaining, especially if you, such as I, are convinced that Neil Young is a musical genius. Time flies by when listening to this music. Especially noteworthy is the performance of Henri de Vries, who not only looks like Neil Young, but, sounds like him. Their voices are hard to tell apart. Reaction on Facebook March 10, 2018: Energy, virtuosity, blend and close harmony…it sounded tremendous. March 10th was an exceptional evening in “De Regentenkamer – Den Haag”. It brought back so many beautiful memories.
